One Missoula home. Wide-plank hardwood that runs clean from the front entrance to the back of the house, with character that will only get better as the family grows around it.
Marc handled the floors end-to-end, right alongside the homeowners and their vision.

The Living Room
Stone, hardwood, and a clean line between them.
The fireplace anchors the great room, so the floor had to meet it without a fight. Boards were laid running toward the hearth and hand-cut around the stone base for a flush, gap-free finish. No transition strip, no compromise.
Open Plan
One floor, every room.
The same wide-plank ran continuously from the living room through the dining and into the back hallway — no thresholds, no breaks. With wood that wide, the layout has to be planned before a single board is cut. Marc snapped the lines first, then placed every board by hand to keep the grain reading evenly across the open span.

The dining room sits over the warmest grain of the run. Stain pulled slightly amber to play with the evening light.
The first floor a guest sees. Edge-finished tight to the door frame, sealed for boot traffic and Montana winters.
Detail Work
Where the floor meets the stone.
Detail shots are where craftsmanship lives. The hardwood meets the fireplace stone with no shoe molding, no caulk line — just a tight scribe cut, hand-fitted, then sealed.
The Kids' Room
Built-in bunks, hardwood underfoot.
Custom built-in bunks framed against a hardwood floor that will outlast every growth spurt. The boards under the beds are the same run as the rest of the house — Marc doesn't believe in cheaping out where furniture hides the work.
The Granny Suite 
A second home, on the same floor.
Attached granny suite gets the same hardwood treatment as the main house — same species, same finish, same craftsman. When family visits, the floor doesn't change just because the door does.
